Is it to early to...

Starting colouring Christmas images?  I make around 30 Christmas cards every year and I always seem to be stuck by one card or two. This year I promise myself I wont have any last-minute card, so if I coulour a couple of images now and leave them ready for when Im making cards, that should make my life a little bit easier, no? I will let you know how it goes throughout the year :)
Here is my first image

I just love this image from Lili of the Valley. It was coloured using Promarkers and the fluffy bit is Flower Soft.

Starting the week with the F word!

And it is finally stitched!
I put it aside a couple of weeks ago trying to decide if to stitch or not part 5 of this SAL. I looked at alternatives but none of them turned up to be good so I guess it was decided for me :)

It still needs ironing and I will be turning it into a wall hanger so watch this space.

Now it is time to get my markers out and start colouring again. My shoulder is still very sore and stitching is causing a bit of pain. I havent received my shoulder support strap yet, so will wait til it arrives to start stitching again.
I have a stamped image to share but will add another post.

Around the world Part 17

My Valentines

We had such a great Valentines! Hubby graduated from his NCO course and is back home (finally!). The big smile on his face during the ceremony was something to be proud of. It was 5 months of hard work totally worthed. And Eddie behaved like a big boy during it so we took him for a lunch at the mall. Needless to say he was very excited.
I made this Valentine's Card for him on thursday night because I didnt realise he was expecting one since I gave his present on Wednesday (he wanted a new motorbike helmet, and boy, those are expensive...) After reading my blog updates I saw that I love promarker this week challenge is 'Gingham' (Sorry honey but your card is going to be displayed on blogworld)

My Promarkers have a home!

I've bought a unit at Ikea last year and I thought it would be perfect for my Promakers. So after dwelling on what colour to use and how to make it, Papermania released the Pariense Blue collection and I knew I had a winner. I added extra shelves using blue mountboard that I cut to size and used acrylic paint inside the main unit and drawers.

I started from something like this (only difference mine has 12 drawers instead of 6 - couldnt find photo of my unit and it has been discontinued by Ikea, sorry)

And I turned into this:

How about that huh? Im so proud of it! I just love the colours. Really do.
Hope you like the idea :)
